In Loving Memory of Davieon Talley; Jackson Towers Apartments Shooting in Painesville, Ohio

EASTLAKE, Ohio — The Eastlake community is mourning the tragic loss of 18-year-old Davieon Talley, who was fatally shot Sunday evening, Jan. 26, at the Jackson Towers Apartments in Painesville.

The shooting occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 26, when multiple gunshots were reported inside the building. Painesville police, with an officer on site preparing a foot patrol, responded immediately. Talley was found in a stairwell and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other victims, a 22-year-old Painesville man and a 17-year-old Painesville boy, were also shot and transported to University Hospitals Tri-Point Medical Center. Their names and current conditions have not been released.

Davieon Talley, a resident of Eastlake, is remembered by family, friends, and neighbors as a young man with a bright future whose life was tragically cut short. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. The Painesville Police Department has expressed condolences to Talley’s family and confirmed there is no ongoing threat to residents or the community.
